How to Make Oven Baked Smothered Broccoli

There are only 6 ingredients in this delicious Smothered Broccoli! Fresh broccoli, bacon, soy sauce, brown sugar, butter and garlic. To cut down on time you can precook the bacon the day before assembling the casserole. You can even assemble this casserole ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to bake.

This recipe uses a TON of fresh broccoli. Don't worry, it cooks down. Don't be tempted to use less broccoli. My pan was filled to the brim before cooking. It was only about half full after baking.
