Here’s a peek at everything I loved in September 2020! xo

FOOD

My pumpkin pie steel cut oats. This has been breakfast on repeat. I make a batch at the start of the week and reheat a portion each day. Absolutely love them!

Fannie May S’mores snack mix. Oh my. This is completely addictive – once you start, it’s all over. Crunchy grahams and marshmallows covered in milk chocolate. Everyone freaks over this.

Leinenkugel Harvest Patch Shandy. I’m not a huge beer lover, but I can’t pass up a good pumpkin beer with a cinnamon sugar rim! This has easily taken the #1 spot for me. My definitely favorite!

FASHION

Athleta Made to Move Mask. I love the regular Athleta masks but got these last month and they are wonderful!! I don’t use them to work out since I’m just in my house, but I actually prefer these ones over others when I have to go out. I also love that these come with the elastic band to go around the back of your head if needed!

Via Spiga Packable Hooded Raincoat. This was a Nordstrom anniversary sale purchase and I am in love. It is SO lightweight (would be incredible for travel, whenever that can happen again) and is super cute. The best part is that it has a big hood! And it’s not just for rain – I’ve worn in while taking Max to school because the mornings are getting chilly. It’s great for cool weather.

Moonlight Lace Pajamas. It’s no secret that I am OBSESSED with the nordstrom line of pajamas. They have been a huge staple since I had Max. They are so soft and stretchy. This is a new version and I love it because of the short sleeves but also – no buttons. So comfy. I could LIVE in these!

Vionic Relax Slipper. Okay this is apparently the year of the slipper for me, but who is surprised. Last month I hurt my foot and needed to have support at all times in the kitchen. I wear shoes when working but a friend recommended these to me for cooking dinner, etc and I may never go back. They are pricey, but I have never had such a supportive slipper. They are incredibly comfortable. They aren’t that cute, but they are worth it. P.S. I have the black ones and they constantly sell out but come back in stock.

MEDIA

One To Watch. This was our September book club pick and it was SO GOOD. I highly recommend this book! Light and fun but also had a lot of depth. I was hooked in the first few pages.

Friday Night Lights. I can’t believe it took me until now to watch this entire series and I adored it. Adored!

Keith Urban The Speed of Now. This might sound weird but I really don’t listen to country music unless it’s in the summer. But!! 2020 has changed that and I love Keith Urban’s new album!! The song with P!nk called One Too Many is so good.

Podcasts! Here are a few of my favorite episodes from this month: Day 7 on Armchair Expert (this is so emotional and so good. I love Dax.), Harry and Meghan Finding Freedom on Be There in 5 (love this discussion with Merritt Beck!), Venita Aspen on Bad On Paper (if you don’t follow Venita, you must!), and On My Mind on Unlocking Us.

HOME

Swell Calcatta Gold Insulated Tumbler. I didn’t think I’d be a travel mug coffee kind of person, but sometimes I haven’t finished it by the time I leave to take Max. This is the perfect size – I can do hot or iced coffee in here and it stays great. I can also fit a straw through the top lid.

Mackenzie Childs Spooky Pumpkins. Pretty sure I have mentioned these every year, but they are by far my favorite piece of fall decor. First, I love that they aren’t orange, second, I love that they are perfect for Halloween but then can be turned around for Thanksgiving

Homesick Pumpkin Patch Candle. I did a post earlier this month on my favorite candles and have since gone through this one. I LOVED it. It is a such a nice pumpkin scent with just a hint of spice and not much sweet. I can’t find this exact one in stock online, but they have a very similar one called pumpkin picking!

Gold Cookie Sheet 3 Pack. I use these sheet pans every single day (sometimes multiple times a day) and use all sizes. They are great quality for the price!

KIDS

Yum Box. We’ve entered the world of lunch boxes this year and I bought a few to try out. This is our favorite – it’s so easy for Max to open, I love the segments, it’s light weight and it can go in the dishwasher. Max loves it too.

Straw Constructor Building Toys. This toy has been an absolute HIT with the kids. It’s fantastic for both ages and they’ve had a lot of fun building together too. I love that so much can be done with it, but then it also packs up nicely.

1000 Things That Go. My kids love this book (along with the food one too!) and get lost in it. Max loves to go over every.single.thing in the book – it’s so cute! I feel like they have also learned so much from these too.

Magnatiles. We’ve had magnatiles since Max was two, and he enjoyed them for years. He still does! But now, Emilia has discovered them and she is obsessed. It’s so cute. She is constantly building “doggy houses” and builds everywhere! These are such a toy that lasts and lasts.
